Last Saturday brought the annual pig roast at my parent's place. It was a good time, lots of pig and beer for all. The day started slow with some flag football, but ended strong with State v. Umich flip cup (we won), State v. Umich pool (we won), and all the drama that ensues.

Sunday I woke up and helped clean up around the house, then drove back to Columbus. By the time I got back it was about 6:30, so I popped in The Simpsons season 3, hit play, and promptly fell asleep on my couch. I woke up this morning in my bed. Long weekend....

Here it is, 6 days since my last post. Life has been pretty slow down here in Ohio. I missed all last weekend's games due to the fact that my satellite provider doesn't give me networks (bastards), so no NFL, no College Football...but I do watch a whole lot of Discovery now. I pretty much spent the weekend fixing things around the house and cleaning up. You'd think that living in the house for like 4 or 5 months I'd be unpacked.

I went and checked out Underworld last night. I had to sit in the front row because it was pretty packed, so my neck hurt like hell by the time the movie was over. It wasn't a bad flick, and definately had some cool parts. I'd say use your old student ID to check it out in a theatre, otherwise I'd wait until video.

Tonight I rock with my new band, Lori. We are going to work on structuring some of our songs, and have some large ideas for the future (possibly bigger than my puny brain can handle). So, does anyone actually read this?

Well, I didn't make it to the game on Saturday. I'm somewhat glad because I know that it would have just brought me down. Instead, we went and drank some beer, played some mini-put, and drove go karts.

On Sunday I had to move my pool table and some other stuff down to my house from my parents'. I ended up throwing out my back lifting the slate and it is finally getting better today. Those things weigh a freakin' ton.

Last night I went down to Skully's to check out The National. They are a pretty decent indie rock group out of Brooklyn. One of my buddies here at work went to school with the lead singer, so we ended up hanging with the band before and after their set. It was a good time, but I left my debit card at the bar and I have to drive back downtown tonight after work to pick it up. I'm an idiot. All in all, it has been a pretty slow week, and I feel like I'm going to fall asleep sitting here at work. Maybe I will....who knows.

Well, here it is two years after and I still can't believe it...but enough of that, you'll get your fill on the news and papers today.

Today is a pretty slow day since I took off work. I heard from Kate (I'll e-mail you later on) via e-mail today, which was cool. The morning consisted of waking up and going to Taco Bell for brunch, followed by a Home Depot. We might go to bed bath and beyond, I don't know if we'll have time. Melissa is down for the day, she has an interview, lets hope it goes well.

This weekend I'll be back in Michigan to tailgate at the LA Tech game. It should be a good time. My car isn't going to be out of the shop because they messed up the paint a second time and have to strip the whole car back down to primer to repaint it. At least it will be done right this time.

Well, to all those that are reading this and are back in MI, give me a call.

Welcome to my little corner of blog hysteria...

It seems that everyone and their mother now has one of these things, so being the vapid sheep I am, I decided to hop on the bandwagon. I'm not quite sure what I want to say, but I'll probably keep everyone updated on whats going on in my life (music, cars, house, job, etc). So here goes.

Last night I went and saw Cheap Trick and Cake at PromoWest. It was a great show, but I was a little upset with myself. I thought I was a huge Cake fan, but I don't have their first album. As it turns out, they played a LOT of stuff off said album and I probably saw the show of a lifetime and didn't even know it. Oh well, off to Best Buy to pick up the first disc and the Family Guy Season 3 DVDs after work today. Check back soon, I'll have more useless info to throw at you.
